Hello,
I have had a Chinese laser cutter for about 6 months now. It has been working pretty good for my purposes of
Cutting and engraving Plexi. About 2 weeks ago, total power to the system went down. After doing some trouble
shooting I was able to determine it was the fuse in the AC socket. I contacted the manufacture 3 times to send me another AC socket
and they said "Just replace" the fuse. The problem is that the fuse is molded into the housing. However there is an outline where the fuse is.
Does anyone know if this is a "standard" technique to have the fuse molded into the AC socket?
They keep on telling me to open it up!!

You can just use a pincer and open the fuse holder. The fuse are available in any electronic shop, look for the amp rating.

Ok my bad ... on these AC outlets the fuse it NOT molded in like I thought. You will need to take the AC socket out
then push the holder out from the BACK.
then push the holder out from the BACK.

How do you like your laser cutter from China? What power is it and how thick of plastic or wood will it cut? I am looking for one that will cut thin gauge steel.
