Hello,
I am launching a DIY project to build a projector. The principle is to use a powerful light source and a LCD screen (and of course, some optics stuff that don't matter here). I would like to use a smartphone given that used smartphone seem to be the cheapest and smallest Full HD LCD screen on the market. To do so, a first problem is to remove touch glass, backlight and everything that is not the LCD.
Then, are there any universal HDMI controller that I can use with LCD screens from Smartphone ?? I have troubles to find how to do it...
Otherwise I could maybe use WiFi to cast directly to the LCD. In that case I would have to be able to light the LCD with touchglass and backlight removed but I have to let it connected to the smartphone board? Doable ??? If yes, do you an Android phone to advise ?
Thanks a lot !
