Bluetooth RGB

Post by adenology »

Hello, first of all im a beginner in this field.
I want to make a project, creating a Bluetooth RGB lighting for mobility purpose. so i can adjust the color of the LED strip from my smartphone or a pc wirelessly.
I went over to the shop category, and i saw Adafruit NeoPixel Digital RGB LED Strip - White 30 LED - WHITE (https://www.adafruit.com/product/1376) and Adafruit NeoPixel Digital RGB LED Strip - White 60 LED - WHITE
(https://www.adafruit.com/product/1138) what is the different between it?
also i found the ADAFRUIT FEATHER NRF52 BLUEFRUIT LE (https://www.adafruit.com/product/3406) board which is exactly seems to be the correct boards for my project purposes. Can i use the RGB LED Strip to the board? Because i saw a boldline post about the product "You must use a 5V DC power supply to power these strips, do not use higher than 6V or you can destroy the entire strip" which turns out (maybe) i need a 5V DC power supply for the LED strip which i don't want to use any kind of a 'big shape power supply' for my project.
Which battery do i need for my project? do i need this POWERBOOST 1000 CHARGER - RECHARGEABLE 5V LIPO USB BOOST @ 1A https://www.adafruit.com/product/2465?
My goal for this project is having a RGB LED strip that can keep up for a minimum 12 hour of usage within a single charge. Also adjust the color and lighting mode (e.g pulsate, blink, breath, etc) from a smartphone and pc wirelessly
And what else you guys would like to suggest for my project?
Thank you in advance.

One has 30 pixels per meter and the other has 60 pixels per meter
