I just received one of the ARDX kits, and had a couple of questions about basic setup:
-- The acrylic mounting plate that the Arduino and the breadboard go on isn't quite like the one pictured in the manual -- it's more like a mirror image. Am I right in thinking that it's not supercritical where they're placed, as long as the Ardunio can be attached with screws through a couple of the holes in the acrylic plate?
-- The acrylic plate has some kind of paper backing that doesn't seem to come off easily. Do most people leave it on? Does it make a big difference?

Mine didn't fit all the holes either so I just used the ones I could and it was fine. The paper is to protect the plastic when working an machining it. You can leave it or not as it does not affect the boards at all.

The rubber feet will stick better to the plastic, not the paper.
