SIM Reader powered by the serial port
Is it possible to provide the vcc power supply from the vcc pin from the serial port?? Thanks in advance

yes you can....
But the current is low, you have use the pin 4 and 5 to the db-9 ang link to 1n4148...or...take tehe vcc from the USB or another external vcc.

This is basically why we invented USB... and that damn RS232 should be banished.
