I2C wire-color convention??

by Dfitterman on Wed Dec 22, 2021 10:27 pm

Is there a wire-color convention for hooking up SCL and SDA lines for I2C devices?

Personal choice as far as I've seen. I use Red for +5V, Orange for 3.3V, Black for ground, Green for SDA and Yellow for SCL.

There are no official standards for the color of the signal wires. Our Stemma cables use white for SDA and green for SCL.
