Thanks to the support here, I can connect my CP Bluefruit to the Bluefruit Connect App. The colors don't match with what I'm communicating through the app, but that's not a big deal.
The main problem I'm facing is when I unplug from my computer and plug the device into the wall, the lights remain all white no matter the input from the app, which is still connected. Any instant thoughts on this?

So you have the external 5v supply feeding into Vout? When the CPB is connected to USB, the external supply is completely disconnected?
You really shouldn't connect an external voltage source to Vout since there is no protection is you accidentally connect USB. You would be better connecting the external 5v to the battery connector. That way it is protected from the back voltage from the USB connection, as well as running through a 500mA fuse to protect the CPB itself.
