What is the exact type of JST Connector on the Batteries?

For other supported Arduino products from Adafruit: Shields, accessories, etc.

What is the exact type of JST Connector on the Batteries?

Post by stefanfoulis »

For example for https://www.adafruit.com/product/4237 (I think all the batteries at Adafruit have the same connector?).
What is the exact type of 2-pin JST PH Connector?
There are soooo many different ones.
I'm looking for a number like

Code: Select all

SPH-002T-P0.5S

The connector housing is a PHR-2. The choice of contact depends on the wire gauge you are using. See the chart on the top of page 2. Most of our batteries use 24AWG (or the metric equivalent), so either SPH-002T-P0.5S or SPH-002T-P0.5L contacts would work.

That's for the "female" contact, right? The "male" board-side connectors are always the same?

There are surface mount and through hole versions. Dimensions are shown in the datasheet: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0227/ ... 1642424638
