NeoPixel Ring - 24 x 5050 RGB LED with Integrated Drivers

Post by jiazhangwang »

Hi, there are two +5v and GND ports on the NeoPixel Ring - 24 x 5050 RGB LED with Integrated Drivers. They are the same? We just need to use one of them?

The +5 and GND ports are the same. Having two ports makes it easier to have one set of cables that provide the data in, power, and ground from your microprocessor and to have a second set of cables that provide data out, power, and ground. Otherwise, you would need to make a Y-cable if you were going to connect the neopixels in series.
