Hello,
I'm a huge fan of the TV B Gone, and I had the chance to meet Mitch Altman and solder my first kit during one of his workshops, a few years ago.
Recently I wanted to make another one, trying to burn the file myself on an empty Attiny85V-10PU.
I'm using an Arduino Uno as ISP programmer. I attached a 8MHz oscillator, and burned the initialization sequence according to that before transfering any sketch to the Attiny.
I'm able to send a simple blink sketch to the Attiny, and that works, my LED do blinks.
But when I send the TV B Gone's hex file and put the Attiny on a TV B Gone kit (which works well with the original chip), the power LED flashes slowly 2 times and stops, and the IR LED don't light at all (checked with my phone's camera)...
Do you know what's wrong with my way of doing it ?
Is there something about the fuses ?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !!
TV B Gone not working with my Attiny85V-10PU.

Well, it seems that writing all this here helped me to find the solution... Sorry for this question.

Indeed, there was something with fuses, that I finally found how to reprogram (thanks to this post here : viewtopic.php?f=23&t=14317).
Thanks.
