Adafruit MACROPAD RP2040 Bare Bones - 3x4 Keys + Encoder + OLED Product ID: 5100

Connection works but display doesn't work
After closer inspection I noticed that the display cable was damaged (photo).

Have you tried reseating it in the connector?

@dastels It looks to me like the photo shows physical damage that might sever or at least compromise a few conductors in the FPC. (One cut might sever 1-2; another might sever 2-3 or maybe part of 4.)

Yes, there's come bending/crimping, but I don't see clear signed of breakage from the photo. The latch bar on the display connector looks like it might not be securely/fully seated.

Not just once
If I somehow get around to it, I'll write a test code with LEDs and buttons Without display

OK, but in the photo it doesn't look like the latch is fully seated. If it isn't then the cable doesn't have a good connection to the socket.

It works now because it was said several times here that the socket was not properly closed, I checked it again and the lock was actually not 100% closed
Thanks for the help
