Hi, i was using adafruit voice bonnet on a pi zero w. I have installed the drivers. But the pitch coming out of the speakers is very low. How can i increase it? Also the speed is also low.
Thanks,
Pitch too low

Re: Pitch too low
Have you tried running alsamixer you can adjust the gain there.
Does it sound the same through headphones as the speaker setup you are using?
What are you using for speakers / amplification?

Re: Pitch too low
I tried with alsamixer but didn't help. Headphones sound the same. I am using dfrobot stereo enclosed 3w 8ohm speaker. Distortion is very high. Any apparent fix?

Re: Pitch too low
Let's focus on just the headphone output from the Voice Bonnet as the dfrobot is adding complexity.
What are you using for a power suppy on your Pi Zero W? Can you drive it from a USB battery pack? Can you post a photo of your setup?

Re: Pitch too low
That is a cool build. Nice work.
When you pull the Pi + Voice Bonnet from this setup and drive it off a 2A power souce (maybe your USB battery pack can supply that) with only headphones connected (through the Bonnet 1/8" mini connector) does the pitch still remain low.

Re: Pitch too low
I installed a fresh image of rpi os onto the sdcard and installed voice bonnet drivers. Now it is working great! Thank you for the support!
