I'm having issues with the BEST adjustable soldering iron (Product ID 3685) not sufficiently heating up. I'm unable to create any joints or even tin the tip. At max temp when I hold the solder against the tip for a long time, the solder will, at best, bead up.
I've tried changing the tip, using a different outlet, and giving it ample time to heat up. If there's anything else I should be trying, please let me know.
