TLC59711 on Metro Express

Post by rbardsley »

I am having trouble connecting my existing circuit to my new Adafruit Metro Express M0. My circuit uses a TLC59711 to drive an LED. When I run the TLC59711 example, it can't find the sensor. I currently have it wired as follows:
  • CI -> SCK / pin 24 on the 6-pin SPI header
    DI -> MOSI / pin 23 on the 6-pin SPI header

Am I reading the pinout diagram correctly? The image on the Adafruit site is really hard to read because the details on the SPI callouts are different between the main board image and the one used to illustrate the SPI header.

Thanks!

Try the connections shown here instead of using the 6 pin SPI header:

...and that worked perfectly! Not sure why it wasn't working before, but I am up and running! Thanks!
