Metro Mini Capacity

Post by whfisher »

I made a 6 x 24 matrix that displays scrolling words. I used an Arduino Uno R3 to set it up. Now I have changed it to a Metro Mini 328.

With the Uno R3, I was able to scroll long sentences. With the Metro Mini 328, the sentence must be much shorter. If I put a long sentence in using the Mini, I get the beginning words OK, but then letters get dropped and become garbled.

Is this due to limitations of using a Metro Mini 328? I thought the Mini had the same abilities as the Uno R3.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks.

It uses the same MCU so it should be identical, just on a smaller board.
