larson scanner animation
Seeking Larson scanner code on Makecode for Circuit Playground Express with a neopixel strip. Im struggling with understanding makecode for my circuit playground express. I found a wealth of tutorials for running circuitpython, especially the youtube series by John Gallaugher. However i quickly discovered that the circuit playground express doesnt have the RAM to run many led animations. So now im trying to wrap my head around Makecode because the CPX can handle it. Im just trying to get cool LED animations. What i REALLY want is code that makes a color changing larson scanner effect with makecode on the CPX, or code for the plain red larson scanner. Ive been trying to figure it out for days. Do any of you nice folks have any makecode LED animations that you can share? Screenshots maybe? Thanks in advance.

We have this guide with code in CircuitPython and Arduino:

There is also this Makecode example on Github. We have no experience with it:

Hi bill thanks for the reply. Yeah i noticed both of those links in my searches, unfortunately im looking for makcode version of scanner. The github link gives a 404 when trying to use it, its coded for the microbit regardless.
