Hello,
I have a set of 4 noods Flexible LED. I will mount them in serial mode. For that i will used a 12 V power Supply (3V x 4). I'm not sure to understand how to choise the resistor to limit the current. The datasheet talk about 50 ohm... Why not but, what type of resistance i need ? 1/4 W for example ?
Regards

Re: Choise of resistance for noods Flexible LED
Power = Voltage squared / Resistance so if you have 12V and 50 ohm resistance your power will be 2.88 watts. I would use a 5 watt resistor so you have the head room and so that the resistor doesn't get as warm.
