Can you post a picture of your hookup? Which battery did you get and how is it connected to the mcu?

I have connected the fuel gauge to a node mcu esp-32s;
sda to pin21 and scl to pin22 which are also labeled sda and scl respectively,
The LIPO is connected to the fuel gauge via the supplied adafruit JST cable
A 3.3 volt is supplied to the ESP-32 via a converter working off the LIPO
Ground from the LIPO goes to ESP and fuel gauge
Vin on the fuel gauge is connected to 3.3v
I am going to try a different ESP32
Thanks
