Hello,
Is there any way to control this linear servo https://www.actuonix.com/l16-140-150-6-r which requires a 5v signal, from the https://www.adafruit.com/product/3061 Feather Wifi board which has an operating voltage of 3.3v?
I'd like to power the linear servo from a separate power supply, with the signal wire & shared ground going to the board. Can I put a level shifter like this https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12009 in-between the servo and the Feather on the signal wire?
Are we using the best board for the job? We have pretty tight space limitations.
Thanks in advance for your insight and guidance.
Chris

You can try it as-is. Many nominally 5v devices respond fine to 3.3v signals. If that doesn't work, a level shifter should take care of it.
