M0 Wifi LED Issue?

Post by EBCrp »

I am using the Adafruit Feather M0 WiFi - ATSAMD21 + ATWINC1500 PID: 3010 and I have been following along with "Exploring Arduino" by Jeremy Blum. In the Wifi section (chapter 17) I have a common anode LED connected with the Red connection through pin 5. All works as it is supposed to except that the red LED stays lit - just a tad - even when the 3 colors of the LED are turned off. The LED is connected on the positive side to the "USB" pin. It's almost like there is a little voltage leak? Any thoughts? Thanks!!

Is the RED LED the Power indicator LED? If it's the power LED, it will always turn on as long as the powered is connected to the power supply.

yes. the red LED turns on, and the program loads, no issue there.

Post a photo showing your hardware and connections and we'll take a look. 800x600 images usually work best.
