Hi,
I'm a very beginner with coding, so I use the BBC Microbit system and block's coding. I'm wondering if I can use the little Flora sewable noepixels with the Microbit as the board (not the Flora board). I bought Flora Neopixels - Flora RGB Smart NeoPixel version 2 - Sheet of 20 (Product ID: 1559) and I try to connect them to the Microbit, and only the first little Flora is doing what I'd code. The others are doing just flashing red, that's it. Is it normal?
Thank you for helping me.

Re: Flora Sewable Neopixels and BBC Microbit
Hi,
Here is the link to my code on Makecode: https://makecode.microbit.org/_140McuUPy3aE. Of course, I adjust the number of Neopixels that I plugged together.
Here are the link to two videos showing my connections:
- 1 Flora: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tgIRuf ... sp=sharing
- 2 Floras: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VAh1wG ... sp=sharing
Pictures:
-1 Flora: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15QS7ty ... sp=sharing
-2 Floras: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kzfhmL ... sp=sharing
The code and Microbit work very well with a strip of Neopixels: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vqWMqK ... sp=sharing
And I tried to sew the Flora with the Thin conductive Thread sold with the Flora and it's doesn't work at all...
That's why I'm wondering if the Sewables Flora Neopixels can work with the BBC Microbit as a board, instead of the Flora Board.
Thank you for your help.

The neopixels need 3 connections each: Ground, 3v and the signal pin. Your second Neopixel has only 2 connections. Looks like just ground and signal. You need a 3v connection to properly power it.
