I am really new to all this. I am still at the conceptualization phase. But of course I need to start buying some components to make it real.
In my little project, I'd like to trigger sounds by stepping or stomping. In other words, whenever my feet (individually) touch the ground, a sound would be triggered. Currently I am thinking via MIDI, but that is for later and not sure yet.
But the starting point here are the actors. What should I put below my shoes? A button, or a sensor? I think button would be best (fastest reaction and easiest?), but that's only my intuition. Also, that's not where people usually would put buttons, so not sure what would be a suitable product actually.
I guess what I am looking for is fast response on contact. In terms of precision, unequivocally triggering on contact only. That's it.
Any suggestions? They'll be highly appreciated!
What are good components to trigger at step/stomp?
