Problem with Dual Fans on Pi 4 Heatsink Case (PID: 4340)

Post by Royxale »

I purchased this case around Christmas time, and for the last week or so, one of the fans has a crazy loud vibration/unbalanced noise that I cannot get rid of no matter what I try. I've tried loosening, tightening, wedging in some paper, some rubber, nothing has worked. It is only one of the fans with this vibration and I have no idea what to do at this point. The other fan is completely fine. I cannot find a replacement set of the dual fans. I was going to buy a single fan, but I'm not positive how to wire it in. I was hoping to not have to do a return but I don't see any other way to fix this. If there is, I am open to all suggestions

This normally is a "rub" issue with the fan making contact components if the screw tension is not perfect.

You are welcome to do a return if this was purchased in the last month. Contact [email protected] to start that process. They will need your order # and this forum link as authorization.
