I found this guide (https://learn.adafruit.com/introducing- ... udio-grove) on STEMMA and STEMMA QT very helpful. I noticed one thing about Grove that might be worth mentioning. The "natural" way to use a Grove connector is kinda-sorta reversed from the way to use a STEMMA connector. The keying on both kinds of connectors makes sure you use them in the correct way.
Seeed has two kinds of connectors on the cables: plain and buckled. The buckled connector has a little spingy tab that clips onto a lip of the PCB connector. You can use the Grove cables with the plain connectors with STEMMA by inserting the cable in the correct orientation (even though it will seem like it must be wrong). If you use a horizontal mounted STEMMA connector (JST-PH) on the PCB, you will not be able to use a Grove cable with buckles. The cable has to be plugged in upside-down, and the buckle will then be on the bottom, colliding with the PCB and preventing insertion.
(OTOH, it's easy to snip the buckle off a Grove cable that has them.)
