Hi,
I have a Mac (M1 Chip), running a MacOS version 13.1 Ventura. I am trying to make the Adafruit BLE sniffer (nRF51822 Firmware V2) work but haven't had any success. The issue is that the sniffer interface doesn't become visible in Wireshark.
I've followed your instruction:
https://learn.adafruit.com/introducing- ... nd-python3
As that didn't work, I also followed the following instruction:
https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index ... intro.html
I could follow those instructions without any issues but Wireshark still doesn't show the sniffer interface. Does it maybe have to do with the Silicon Labs driver? I have installed the latest version of the Silabs Cp210x VCP Mac OSX Driver v.6.0.2. Looking forward to your solution proposals.
Thank you very much already beforehand for your support.

Re: Adafruit Bluefruit LE Sniffer on Mac
As a sanity check, verify your USB cable by using it to connect some other, known-working device to a computer.
There's a plague of charge-only cables out there with USB connectors at both ends, but no wires for the data signals. People get caught by them every day.
Just swapping cables has no diagnostic value. The current record is someone who had to try ten cables before finding one that worked. Only a working USB connection can rule out a charge-only cable.
