Audiofx mini One and Done

Post by Bosozoku_Volvo »

I bought an audiofx mini to rebuild a toy for my younger sister, got power set right, green light comes on, wired a quick test switch and the speaker to the L and GND port. it never played a sound, and after i moved the speaker contacts to R, the red light no longer activates, and im assuming no attempt is made.

The files are named correctly, T01.WAV, the T00.ogg is still there and doesnt try to play that either. the speaker has worked in another project prior. Given my luck with my ender 3, i figured reflashing the 16mb disc image might help, but nothing has changed. am i missing something?

A few points:
- the ACT LED should light when it's playing a sound
- it won't play sound when connected to USB
- triggers won't work if U/G is connected to ground
- test using the demo files as they will play if it's working
- The mini doesn't have an amp so it likely won't directly drive a speaker.

I thought it said it would drive a 20w speaker?

I know the rest of these things, not plugged into USB, nothing like that. It no longer flashes the led to say it's playing, that's my problem
