Summary: Getting older Adafruit microcontrollers to show up on my Mac.
Hi fellow Makers,
I'm trying to connect my Macbook (OS Ventura 13.1) to an older Adafruit Gemma but my Mac doesn't recognize it.
I found a post on Adafruit that says to update the bootloader on the gemma to make it work on newer systems but I do not have access to an older OS currently.
I've also confirmed that the USB cable I'm using is data & power capable.
Does anyone have a workaround for this?

Re: Gemma not connecting to mac via usb
If you mean the older pre-M0 version of the Gemma, see the product page:
DaveDeprecation Warning: The Gemma bit-bang USB technique it uses doesn't work as well as it did in 2014, many modern computers won't work well. So while we still carry the Gemma so that people can maintain some older projects, we no longer recommend it. Please check out the Gemma M0. It has built-in USB, more capabilities, and is comparable in price!
