Pyportal won’t boot

Post by dancleve »

My Pyportal order arrived today and I can’t get it to turn on. I have double tapped the reset button multiple times. I have another one and when it arrived, I was able to get it to work right away. I believe there may be a problem with this one.

Sounds like an issue with the PyPortal.

Are you using the same power supply as the working unit?

Is anything else connected?

Do you see any LED activity?

I’m using the same power and cord from the working one and tried several others. See no LED lights come on. Nothing else Connected.

Let's start the process to get you a replacement. You should see lights. This means either no bootloader was installed or there is a real hardware issue. If you have the original pink bag that PyPortal came with can you post the numbers on it? This will be helpful to track if there is a batch issue.

Please send an e-mail to [email protected]. They will need this forum thread link as authorization and your order#.
