The mini thermal printer works fine but always prints "Auto Status Report" when I press the feed button.
It's the same page as the manual self test after power on.
How can this be turned off?
I have 5 printers and 4 do it and 1 doesn't.
Thanks a lot!

Can you compare the printer firmware versions between the units that print "Auto Status Report" when the feed button is pressed and the one that doesn't? The FW version should be printed on the status report.

There is a firmware upgrade. It comes with some cautionary wording.
If you'd like to risk it, you can revert/change the firmware using this tool that is from the manufacturer. We haven't tried it. It's completely utterly unsupported and you may break your printer. We won't replace it if it stops working due to a firmware change!

Has anyone tried this upgrade?

I worked with one user who gave the firmware upgrade a try. They were able to establish a connection, but the upgrade did not occur. I assume the guide author has done the upgrade successfully.
