Dear Adafruit experts!
I am trying to repair a screen (Ili9325), connected to a Arduino Mega 2560. It is controlling an Espresso machine, and here is a video of the system at work.

My biggest issue is, that I don't have the code/sketch for the program. The whole machine is build and coded by someone else, and he unfortunately lost the entire program.
In an attempt to fix it, I blew out the volt regulator on the Ili9325, when accidentally connecting 5V to VIN on the Mega board. It is powered by the Jack, witch gives the VIN around 11V.
I have also acquired a new Ili9341, but I am not sure if the connections are the same, from the 74LVC245AD chips, to the display itself?
There are also a few other components that got 11V....two temp sensors MAX31855 and a Micro-SD reader. Those have to be replaced.
I made a couple of diagrams, so it's easier to see how everything is connected.
When I connect the Ili9341, the backlight seems to turn on, but nothing else happens. When I connect the old Ili9325 with a new display, nothing happens. Most likely because of the blown volt regulator.

Re: Display for discontinued Adafruit Ili9325...
There has been some new development.....
It looked like the flat cable on the new Ili9341 was not seated in the connector very well. I still get a white screen, but now the pump turns on, like it should, when I press the areas on the display.
So it looks like the program is still running like it should.
Maybe the screen need the signals from the other components to run properly?

If anyone is an owner of a Adafruit ILI9325 2.8" TFT Breakout Board+, and willing to part from it, I would be very interested in buying it of you.
