Ultimate GPS battery fail

I had intermittent success getting data from the Ultimate GPS. I would get 0 to 16 responses and the a random I/O error stopping my python program. I changed the USB supply. I played with the timeouts and period between samples. After several hours, I finally found the culprit. A dead CR1220 battery. I replaced it and no more I/O errors.

Glad you found the problem and were able to fix it. A new battery should last a long time.

The original battery was only put in in 2020.
