Hello everyone, I am very new to all of this so please forgive my lack of knowledge about thus. I bought an ItsyBitsy 32u4 3v 8MHz, and I am getting a variety of error messages when I try to upload a code to it. The error that has showed up the most is "Connecting to programmer: .
Found programmer: Id = "CATERIN"; type = S Software Version = 1.0; No Hardware Version given.
Programmer supports auto addr increment.
Programmer supports buffered memory access with buffersize=128 bytes.
Programmer supports the following devices:
Device code: 0x44"
I tried different ports, the 16v option, downloading feather drivers....I also tried the blink code, and it gave me the same error, but the blinking worked on the board. When I tried the code with my servo programs, the servos buzzed as if they were trying to work, but I still got this error and nothing happened. Now I am not even getting the buzzing of the servos after I tried switching to the 16V board (I read somewhere that it worked for someone else). I'm not sure what to do! Any help would be appreciated. I have the most up to date version of everything I think. Thanks!

Re: ItsyBitsy 32u4 not working with Arduino IDE 2.0.4
Have you tried the last 1.8.x release as I believe this error is specific to Arduino 2.x.
I have seen this reported before as an issue with where the sketch files are being placed. Also there are some suggestions to turn off verbose output in this case.

https://forum.arduino.cc/t/connecting-t ... e/854491/8[SOLVED] Same error, with different boards. The error was the sketch directoy was on a BANNED Documents file ( i hate BANNED, and it was set as the directory itself ) your problem has'nt to be BANNED, but check this : Go on the Arduino IDE File - Preferences , and if the 'OK' button can't be checked you have a problem, change your Sketchbook Location on the top of the preferencies window and The problem should be fixed, if not, check the Show Verbose output boxes and click 'OK'. I hope this Helps somebody like me.
