I am using a Feather Sense with an 800mAh LiPo battery attached. The complete device (Feather + sensors) takes approx 55mA.
I have connected the USB for 12+ hours and the charging light remains on.
Questions:
- What is the charging current of the Feather Sense charging circuit
- Is charging while consuming 55mA a problem?
Thanks for any advice

Re: Feather Sense - Battery does not stop charging
The charge rate should be about 200mA. What specific LiPo battery is being used? Can you link to product page.

Re: Feather Sense - Battery does not stop charging
It is a "LITER ENERGY BATTERY 802045" - I don't know the origin. (They were available from a previous project and happened to be the right dimensions for the space available).
Spec:
800mAh / 3.7V
Charge Ending voltage 4.2+/-0.03V
Discharge ending voltage 2.75V
Max Charging Current 0.5C
Max Discharge 0.5C
Also, I am using a Adafruit Push-button Power Switch Breakout Product ID: 1400 between the battery and the feather.
I appreciate the help

Re: Feather Sense - Battery does not stop charging
It could be something specific with that LiPo.
Could try reading the battery voltage to see if it's at least reading an OK value:

Re: Feather Sense - Battery does not stop charging
When charging, VBat reports 4.17V
The voltage measured at the battery, on the battery side of the Adafruit 1400 Switch is increasing at a VERY slow rate. I have also tried another battery Lithium Ion Polymer Battery - 3.7v 1200mAh Product ID: 258. when it is plugged directly into the feather, it charges within the expected amount of time. When the 1400 switch is connected between the feather and the battery, the charge light is still on after 24 hrs.
Is the 1400 switch compatible with the feather sense charging circuit?
Your assistance is appreciated,

Re: Feather Sense - Battery does not stop charging
Oops, sry, missed this bit of info at the end of your previous post:
To control power with a battery connected, use the EN pin of the Feather.

Don't need a special switch. Something like this would work fine:
https://www.adafruit.com/product/805
and connect EN to GND through that switch.
That could be it. That switch is more designed for switching the 5V input, not battery, since it will affect the charging capability. Also, I am using a Adafruit Push-button Power Switch Breakout Product ID: 1400 between the battery and the feather.
