Hello,
I have a Metro Express M0 board, I am able to connect to its itneractive console serially.
I would like to toggle GPIO D0 to D13 on and off in interactive mode, what commands should I use?
Thanks

Re: Metro Express M0 toggling GPIO
I suppose that's what is called.
It's the default firmware as it comes with the factory.
I plugged in the USB cable, windows found the driver, assigned a com port.
I connected to the com port with 115200-8-N-1 and viola.
I have some experience using Arduino.
Where a C program can be created to respond to stdin via serial port, and toggle the GPIOs accordingly.
I wonder Metro Express M0 can do something simlar without the complication of compiling C.

OK. Let's get the latest CircuitPython on your board. Read https://learn.adafruit.com/welcome-to-circuitpython and then follow the instructions on https://learn.adafruit.com/welcome-to-c ... cuitpython using the latest (8.0.5 at the moment) version of CircuitPython from https://circuitpython.org/board/metro_m0_express/. You'll also want the latest matching library bundle if you want to do much more than fiddling with the I/O pins. Download the Bundle for Version 8.x from https://circuitpython.org/libraries.
Then read https://learn.adafruit.com/circuitpytho ... essentials. At that point you'll know everything needed to do what you are asking about, and more.
