Hello everyone,
I'm working on a project that requires the ability to make remote phone calls using a SIM card, and from the initial research I think that using the Adafruit FONA board might work in this case, but I'd like to make sure before buying the device. Specifically, I would like to send and receive audio data between a computer/server and FONA in order to initiate a phone call over a cellular network using my SIM card (Visible, sub-brand of Verizon).
However, I'm not sure how to go about sending audio data to the FONA board, or how to initiate a phone call using the FONA. Can anyone provide guidance whether it's possible to accomplish this? Additionally, which specific FONA board or alternative device would be best suited for making remote calls with a SIM card? (I think this is the biggest concern, as the older networks are currently being phased out)
Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated,
Thank you!

Re: FONA for remote calls?
The once great FONA is no longer worth buying. Try a digi x bee cellular 4g.

@Tcall does the digi x bee cellular 4g do voice? I can't seem to find a replacement that can do voice.
