How to set a waypoint on Adafruit Ultimate GPS Breakout with GLONASS + GPS - PA1616D - 99 channel w/10 Hz updates

Post by romanini »

Hello,

I have an Arduino Nano 33 IoT happily receiving data from the Adafruit Ultimate GPS Breakout with GLONASS + GPS - PA1616D - 99 channel w/10 Hz updates. If I enable ALLDATA I see GGA, GLL, GSA, GSV, RMC, VTG sentences which is perfect. Now what I would like is to send a waypoint to the GPS and enter navigation mode so that it will send me BWC, and XTE sentences as well. Even better if I can send the GPS all my waypoints so it have my route and it navigates.

Of course, I realize I can do that in my Arduino and I will if necessary, but I want to confirm that the BPS Breakout does not already provide that functionality before I implement that in the Arduino.

Thanks
Marco
