waterproof el wire/tape

Like the title says i am wondering if the el wire/tape is waterproof (i wanna put it on a bag)

The tape and wire are waterproof along their length. But for complete protection, you will need to seal the ends. Silicone sealant work well for this.

Choose a sealant rated for use with electronics. The 'acid cure' types (smells like vinegar) can damage the wiring.
