Connect thermistor to Solar power charger
There is a brief description on how to connect a thermistor to the solar power charger for thermal protection, but for the life of me I could not figure out what to do. I cut the trace for the connector. I assume I stick the thermistor to the battery? The thermistor comes with a resistor. I don't know if I use that or not. Thanks for the help.

First make sure that your thermistor is a 10K Ohm NTC type thermistor. Other types and values will not work.
The tip of the thermistor should be in close contact with the LiPo cell to accurately measure the temperature of the cell. You can use tape or heat-shrink to securely hold it in place. the resistor that comes with the thermistor is not needed for this application.
