Si5351 as ultrasonic driver/transmitter

Post by the00 »

Hi,
I want to use the si5351 to drive an 40kHz ultrasonic transducer (already did some fixed frequency rf-based transmitter circuits, but I need to fine-tune the frequency, hence the si5351).
Is it possible to connect the transducer directly to the clock output of the si5351?
I'm using this one: https://cdn-reichelt.de/documents/daten ... SENSOR.pdf
I'm using the attached circuit and could provide the Arduino sketch if it's of any help - the sketch is configured to control all three channels of the SI5351 independently.
Any hints of whether or not I need some extra circuitry would be much appreciated!
Something like this maybe? https://arduino.stackexchange.com/quest ... -circuitry
Thanks in advance!!
