QT PY Not Recognized by Windows

When I plug the QT PY in, COM3 highlights. When I unplug it, COM3 goes grey. Nothing else happens.

I have tried multiple cables, same result. This is the same cable I used to Factory Reset the QT PY.

OK, seems like COM3 is the port. The Windows message may be a red herring.

Have you tried programming the QT PY over COM3?

Yes, that’s the port I used for the factory reset.

Not the factory reset. Try uploading an Arduino sketch to COM3.
