Hi all, first post here.
I'm reasonably savvy with electronics, but I made the mistake of trying to plug a DC psu into my x0xb0x (I bought it from someone without it and foolishly breezed through the spec and assumed wrong).
After sourcing the correct PSU, I managed to get about 2 weeks use out of it before the unit stopped powering up. I'm guessing that the initial DC supply may have weakened or broke something along the way?
I'm handy with a multimeter and a soldering iron, but I really wouldn't know the first place to look for this kind of fault. No LEDs come on, and all solder joints look OK (the unit was made by UK based 'We love analog audio labs' and looks well made).
So, I know it's a long shot, but if anyone might know of these symptoms and a way to troubleshoot / repair it, I would be in your debt!
Cheers,
Brawny.
