I am doing a board using the apa102 2020. I've downloaded the Adafriut footprint for Eagle PCB.
However, it appears to be different than the footprint used in some Adafruit product ie. Dotstar Featherwing PRODUCT ID: 3449.
The footprint on the Featherwing does not appear t have the middle pads which are on the downloaded footprint. Am I missing
sometheing? Thanks.

Re: apa102 2020 footprint
The board file for PID 3449 uses the APA102_2020 package from the microbuilder.lbr, and the footprint for that has six pads.

Re: apa102 2020 footprint
You can export it from the DotStar FeatherWing design files. It will be the file 'microbuilder.lbr'.

In doing some research, there does seem to be some variation is this part
and a lot of post on the forums about the footprint.
Does this post

mean we can't be sure what part we will get. Thanks.
