Cannot Upload Sketch — the selected serial port does not exi

Post by Wressell »

Hi, I am fairly new to working with the arduino IDE and the teensy board in general, but I am attempting to follow this tutorial below
https://learn.adafruit.com/trinket-usb- ... b/overview

I was able to trouble shoot some of the initial issues I experienced and finally got my code to compile (yahoo!)

However at this point I am attempting to upload my sketch to the board but am receiving the following error code.

Code: Select all

avrdude done. Thank you.

the selected serial port

does not exist or your board is not connected

I have the board connected via a USB 2.0 hub to my Windows 10 PC. Please let me know if there is a solution! I have researched all I can on the topic but am now hitting a brick wall.

Thanks!
