Attached Micro-USB to JST leads

Post by xorlando »

I'm a little lost finding a way to a micro-USB to my solar rig. I finally got the soldering done so I have a solar panel connected to the Lipo battery charger, and once I connected the batter I could see blinky goodness indicating the battery charging. However, I also want to send power out to a micros USB, i.e. the kind of port an Android or Pi uses for power.

I think the following (link below) might do the trick, but I'm not sure. I also think it might be redundant. I think all I really need is using my remaining JST to a micro-USB plug.

Basically I'm trying to solar-power a PiZero weather station. Run off solar, run off the batter in the dark times. I keep reading this is possible but I'm not finding any "cut here" engineering.
