Ice Cube Clock - can't set time

Post by KingsleyChen »

Hi everyone,
I bought this kit years ago and finally got around to building it (like many of us in these COVID times).
So it's all built, beeps on power up, display works, but I can't engage the Menu button.
It's just blinking in the 'set time' mode.
Any ideas? Could it be as simple as my button is bad?

Bad buttons are possible, but pretty rare. It could also be a marginal solder joint. If you post some photos showing your soldering to the board we can take a look.

Yes, it works now. Those buttons were the last things I soldered and it was late and my bench not too well lite. So I did miss 2 solder pads and once fixed it worked!

Thanks for your help!
