MHP30 for cyanoacrylate fuming?

Post by gnantj »

I'm looking for a little hot plate that gets warmer than a coffee mug warmer but will fit inside a pop-up fuming chamber for cyanoacrylate fuming during my fingerprinting unit for Forensic Science. Could I use the MHP30, or is it going to get all gunked up with the cyanoacrylate fumes and stop working after the first few times I use it? Thanks for any help!

The MHP30 seems like a good choice for your application. I would be surprised if the cyanoacrylate had any effect on it as it is just a heating element and cyanoacrylate is not actually corrosive.
