I tried to download the original firmware source/makefile from sourceforge but it came as the c0ntrol software, I then poked around and got a copy from openmusiclabs, but it seems that was updated..On February 20, 2019, I purchased a beautiful blue Adafruit x0xb0x PCB but then the pandemic threw everything into question and I put the PCB away.
I would now like to build it as I have all the rares and most of the parts needed, but I would like to start with the basic firmware and later, upgrade.
Thank you

I have the original sources but I'm not sure if there are for firmware rev. 1.0.1 or later (v1.05?).
Sourceforge has the hex files for all the early releases, though. Unless you feel the urgent need to compile the firmware yourself this should suffice.

I am looking for the source files, it would be great if they were put in GITHUB
I want to study and possibly modify the code at some point.

Here's what I have. Since the date codes for the files are from 2005 to May 2007 it's likely that those are a version of the original firmware, probably 1.05. The earliest release of SokkOS was in September 2007.
