Re wiring the GPIO pins to power each individual sensor, would this require the power wire from the STEMMA cable to be disconnected? Or could they run in tandem? (i.e. 4 GPIO pins connected to the power inputs on the sensors AND the STEMMA cable doing the same - connected for power via another, single GPIO pin).
I've tried doing the above, and I'm still getting "squirrely" behaviour from the sensors i.e., the time taken to switch on, record a data point and switch off runs to about 94 secs, way longer than I thought was required. It includes an IF time = ... statement if that makes a difference

honestly i recommend getting your code working WITHOUT any depowering of sensors. keep them powered at all times
