Linear Guide control via Adafruit Motor Shield

Post by elyraz »

Hi, is it possible to control Linear Screw Lead Guide Rail Stage Actuator (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TSB7ZT5/ref=emc_b_5_t) using Adafruit Motor Shield? and if so how?

There aren't many details about the stepper on that product, but as long as the coils pull 1.2A or less it should be good.

I'd ask the seller for some electrical specs on the motor. If it is not a good match for the shield, it would probably work with the DRV8833.
