Setting Time

I have a NeoMatrix clock with a metro mini and RTC module. I recently moved to the west coast but cannot seem to reset the time to my new time zone. Code compiles OK and uploads but the time is still set to east coast. Any thoughts?

Which RTC module do you have and what code did you try? And are you following

It is the tiny rtc. 12 C I used the standard code from Adafruit

I also think I need a new matrix as the "E" does not appear to be working.
